BA Servicing and Repairs – We can provide a bespoke service, to enable us to maintain your equipment to the levels required. As per manufactures guidance.
Cylinder Testing – Remar Safety Services are an IDEST Approved Test Centre for the inspection and testing of Diving Cylinders. This ensures they meet the current British Standards BS EN 1802:2002 and BS EN 1968:2002. Breathing air cylinders made of Steel, Aluminium or Composite are tested to the required industry standards. Cylinder valves are also serviced with appropriate valve parts.
Face Fitting – Designed to protect all wearers from harmful chemicals and dust. Ensuring that a tight-fitting face piece/mask matches a person’s facial features. Also sealing correctly to the individual wearers face.
A certificate and a Card will be issued for each successful Face Fit Test.
Air Purity Testing – All in-line breathing air line systems are required to be tested under the current COSHH Regulations. This states that the quality of compressed air supplied to breathing apparatus should be tested every 3 months. Testing is carried out on site.
High Pressure Breathing Air Refills – We fill cylinders up to 300 Bar with BS/EN 12021 Breathing Air.
Diving Regulator/BCD Servicing – As well as necessary repairs when required. We offer an annual check on your diving cylinders. We strip and clean any gauge console. Checking swivel pins and hoses. This includes an inspection for general condition Including leak test and pressure testing. We will of course advise you if any items that need repairing or replacing for your authorisation prior to the work being carried out.
Confined Space Rescue Cover –RSS can offer Medium/High Risk Confined Space Rescue Cover. Which can include a Bespoke Emergency Rescue Plan, within a variety of confined spaces.
We have extensive experience and knowledge of gases and air systems. We offer Breathing Apparatus cover which can include a professional BA Safety team who can support specialised work within confined spaces.
